  • Flyers ready for Playoff Semi-Final

Flyers coach Andreas Kapoulas is an excited man as his team prepare for this weekend's Final Fours: "To be in the playoffs Final Four for a second time in three years is a great achievement for our Club. Winning the National Cup and reaching the top four is a recognition of the hard work the players, coaches and supporters have put not only this season, but over the five years that our club has been in existence. I also need to mention that all of this will not be possible without the support that Filton Colllege and Principal Kevin Hamblin have given us over the years. They have been a vital part of our success."

Development Centre – Important Dates to Remember
We are scheduled to host the Great Britain National teams on the weekends of the 19th /20th and 26th/27th of June which is a great honour for the Club and Bristol. This unfortunately will cause cancellations to the Saturday morning sessions of these two weekends as the national teams want to use the facility from 8am on both Saturdays.

We would also like to remind you that there will be no development centre from the middle of July till the middle of August due to summer holidays.

The last date of the development centre will be Saturday 3rd July and the session will be part of your June monthly subscription. So there will be no additional cost.

The date of re-opening will be Saturday 14th August and we look forward to seeing you all back for another successful year of Bristol Academy Flyers basketball.

U14 & U16 Training and Selection Process
Practises for U14s and U16s will continue till the end of June and then will re-start in the middle of August.
To improve our commitment to you and raise the playing standards, we are planning to change the selection process of the National league U14 and U16s teams.
The Head of Junior Development, Guy Coles will be providing information on selection the first week back in August. Please do check the website for updates during July and August.
